LINDA DRIGGS +
Born in Italy and raised in the south, Linda Driggs moved to Sarasota in 1981 after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Graphic Design. Linda pursued her career as an art director in local advertising agencies until her love for architecture pulled her into her current career as a real estate professional with Michael Saunders & Company.
After many years of missing her creative outlet, Linda has recently devoted her spare time to attending multiple classes at Ringling College of Art and Design and with local artists. With a passion for art, Linda is exploring multiple mediums, and is now focusing on acrylics and an array of floral paintings with an impressionistic twist.
Linda's work can be seen throughout homes locally, across the country and abroad in Europe.
After earning a degree in Graphic Design from The American Academy of Art-Chicago, Nancy relocated to Sarasota in 1979. The love of design and color brought Linda and Nancy together while working at a local advertising agency in the mid-1980s, and then once again in late 2017 at a painting class at Ringling. Currently, she is the Marketing Manager and Creative Director for John Cannon Homes and dedicates evenings and weekends to painting with Linda.
In the past, Nancy's preferred medium has been oils, and currently she is focused on mastering the art of acrylics. She continues to satisfy her visual appetite by painting the beauty of locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Her work has been part of a group exhibition at The Studio of Gulf and Pine, Anna Maria, Florida.
Her work can be found in many private collections in the Midwest and the Tampa Bay area.
